LV243 - Calcite Abbeytown Quarry, Ballysadare, Co. Sligo, Ireland miniature - 4.4 x 3 x 3 cm Scalenohedral white Calcite crystals from the Abbeytown Quarry. The main crystal has a clearer outer layer and pearlescent reflections internally and is in perfect condition. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection. Acquired from Peter Briscol in 2002.
LV223 - Quartz Dunquin, Dingle, Co. Kerry, Ireland miniature - 3.3 x 3 x 2.5 cm Fine quality, somewhat tabular Quartz crystals in a diverging cluster. From the Soloman's Mine pocket opened in October 1999. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection, from Robert Lawson.
LV202 - Millerite on Calcite Sheefry Mine, Co. Mayo, Ireland miniature - 4 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm GGolden metallic needles of Millerite in Calcite along with Chalcpyrite in multiple drusy Quartz lined vugs. Abundant Millerite in many areas of the specimen. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection from Robert Lawson. Found in 1994.
LV242 - Atacamite Knockmahon, Bonmahon, Co. Waterford, Ireland small cabinet - 6 x 6 x 2 cm Here's some Irish green - an Atacamite with good medium green color. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection, acquired from Peter Briscol in 1998. Comes mounted on a Lucite stand.
SV512 - Langite Mountain Mine, Alhillies, County Cork, Ireland small cabinet - 7 x 5 x 2.5 cm Blue to blue-green Langite covering the front surface of specimen. The Langite is more green at the bottom and a more intense teal blue with better crystals at the top. Langite is a rare copper sulfate, some of the best of which are found in Ireland. Ex. SV513 - Sphalerite on Dolomite Lisheen Mine, Moyne, Co. Tipperary, Ireland small cabinet - 9 x 5 x 4.5 cm Gemmy yellow Sphalerite crystals on white Dolomite. These were a very limited occurrence in Panel 18 of the main north orebody. Collected by Stephan Moreton who was lucky to be there at just the right time. Yellow is an uncommon and sought after color for Sphalerite. Small but bright and gemmy crystals. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection.

SV524 - Sphalerite, Quartz, Dolomite Mogul Mine, Silvermines, Co. Tipperary, Ireland small cabinet - 9.2 x 5.5 x 3.5 cm Red 'ruby-blende' Sphalerite with Quartz crystals and Dolomite. The Mogul Mine was a large zinc-lead mine that closed in 1982 and was famous for it's Sphalerite and Galena specimens. Comes with a couple old dealer labels including Isis Minerals and Richard Barstow. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection.
SV525 - Sphalerite with Galena Lisheen Mine, Moyne, Co. Tipperary, Ireland miniature - 4.5 x 3 x 3 cm Gemmy yellow Sphalerite crystals to 4-5mm in a vug with Galena and Pyrite. These were a very limited occurrence in Panel 18 of the main north orebody. Collected by Stephan Moreton who was lucky to be there at just the right time.Yellow is an uncommon and sought after color for Sphalerite. Bright and gemmy crystals collected in September 2007. Ex.
