T254 - Rhodochrosite $ 1200 SOLD Mont St. Hilaire, Quebec, Canada small cabinet - 6.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick rhombs of red Rhodochrosite with attached Leifite (white) and aegerine (black). This is from an August 8, 2015 find that produced a small number of crystals tht are unusually thick for Mont St. Hilaire. We are more accustomed to seeing small wafer-like, twin Rhodo crystals from here, rather than these large, thick crystals. Main crystal is 4cm wide. Undamaged (stepped growth on some corners) with some etched areas, mostly on the backside. Floater specimen with no points of attachment.
T240 - Barite $ 400 El'brusskiy Arsenic Mine, Elbrus Mt., Northern Caucasus Region, Russia miniature - 4.3 x 2.5 x 1.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Gem quality golden brown crystal complete all around. In excellent condition for this locality, with only some minor edge chipping. Fully transparent internally, so much so you see right through it and some of what looks like inclusions in the photos are really just shadows from some irregular surface areas on the lower backside of the crystal.
T248 - Tourmaline $ 3200 Barra de Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 6.8 x 2.3 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Exquisite cluster of brightly colored watermelon Tourmaline with flat, glassy terminations. There is one small incomplete crystal at the base, otherwise all the crystals are perfect and undamaged. Weighs 29.8 grams.

T223 - Cerussite $ 420 SOLD Daoping Mine, Yangshuo, Guangxi Prov., China miniature - 3.8 x 3.6 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Unusual candy colored Cerussite of yellow and pink. These Daoping Cerussites are among the most colorful for the species. The crystal has relatively flat, lustrous front and back faces and more complex growth on the edges. Undamaged.
