CT394 - Cerussite, Mimetite, Tennantite, Smithsonite $ 200 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 3.4 x 2.2 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy reticulated crystal of Cerussite on matrix. Also present are small Smithsonite crystals, and elongated, colorless crystals of Mimetite, and Tennantite.
CT385 - Aragonite var. Tarnowitzite with Mimetite $ 150 Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 3 x 2.3 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() Well formed Tarnowitzite crystal, 1.5cm wide, on matrix with attached crystals of Mimetite.
CT390 - Dolomite on Tennantite $ 250 Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 2.2 x 2 x 1.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Floater cluster of Tennantite crystals composed of two larger crystals to 1.5cm on edge and a number of smaller crystals, with a crystal of White Dolomite attached. Crystallized all around with no point of contact, better than photos.
CT368 - Aquamarine $ 450 Gilgit, Pakistan small cabinet - 6.8 x 1.8 x 1.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy, transparent blue Aquamarine crystals. Complete all around and undamaged. Ex. Clifford Krueger collection and comes with an old label and receipt from Gregory, Bottley & LLoyd (London) that shows this was originally purchased in 1983 for 100 pounds.
CT364 - Chlorite on Adularia $ 150 Val Giuv, Grisons, Switzerland small cabinet - 5.6 x 3.4 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Crystals of Adularia with surface coatings of Chlorite to 4cm long on a small amount of matrix. Aesthetic form and high quality old specimen. Ex. Laurent Gautron collection.
CT355 - Strontianite $ 160 Faylor Quarry, Winfield, Union Co., Pennsylvania, USA miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Spikey, radial clusters of white Strontianite crystals on a grey limestone matrix from an obsure USA locality. Likely from the 1960s or 1970s.
CT398 - Copper in Natrolite $ 275 Springfield Butte, Springfield, Lane Co., Oregon, USA small cabinet - 7.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Basalt vug filled with radial crystal groups of Natrolite with inclusions of Copper. Rare specimen for a Copper collector. Old label shows this was collected in 1960.
CT365 - Lepidolite on Tourmaline $ 400 Himalaya Mine, Mesa Grande, San Diego Co., California, USA miniature - 5 x 1.8 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Double-terminated pink and green Tourmaline crystal with attached Lepidolite. The prism faces are perfect and complete all round. One termination is perfect and has some hollow/stepped growth, the other (pink) termination is flat and lustrous but has some edge chipping. Gemmy with good color and weighs 28.7 grams.
CT367 - Benitoite with Neptunite $ 300 Gem Mine, San Benito Co., California, USA miniature - 3.3 x 2.5 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Benitoite and Neptunite crystals on schist matrix with white Natrolite. The highlight of this specimen is a 1cm triply-terminated crystal. The crystal has all terminations exposed and there is an area of natural indentation or breakage on part of the face. There is also a crystal of the rare mineral Joaquinite present.
