Color-zoned purple Fluorite over and earlier generation of yellow Fluorite. What makes this piece special is the high luster on the purple Fluorite.

Mirror-lustrous Rutile crystals to 1.2cm that contrast well against a matrix of white Pyrophyllite. Ex. Chuck Trantham personal collection, collected by Chuck at the mine in September 1983. This was considered special enough to Chuck to be illustrated in his Mineral Collections of California supplement to the Minerlogical Record magazine. Sawcut on base.

Light brown/tan single Phosgenite crystal from Tsumeb. Relatively thin, elongated crystal showing transparency in areas and well terminated. Complete all around and undamaged with a small partial crystal attached near the base of one side. Rare crystal that comes with an old Sid Pieters label.

Glassy, transparent red Realgar crystals on a black matrix. Well terminated crystals that reach 1cm in size. These are the nicest Getchell Realgar crystals I've ever had, Shimen, China in quality but from Nevada! Ex. Peter Megaw, Chuck Trantham.

Crystals of clear Strontianite with amber colored tips. Strontianite is a mineral not commonly seen in well defined individual crystals. Rare old material found decades ago, these Strongtianites are amoung the best ever found. There are a few damaged crystals present but most are perfect.

Terminated single gem crystal of Chrome Tourmaline which is a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite. Complete all around with deep emerald green coloration in the upper half and a more olive green in the lower half. Fantastic color and mostly gem quality with just a few interanl veils. This was one of the finest thumbnails I obtained from a large parcel back in 2016, which I sold and recently reacquired in trade, offered now at the same old price. Undamaged. From a spectacular pocket opened in 2016. Weighs 2.4 grams.

Single transparent pink Tourmaline crystal with a yellow zone near the top. Complete all around and undamaged with a bit of stepped growth on one side near the termination. Great crystal!! Weighs 2.04 grams.

Large, slightly irridescent Bornite crystals to 2cm on a matrix of Quartz crystals. Bornite crystals are rare, these are just released from an old collection.

Superb 1.4cm crystal of Molydenite on matrix. Old specimen label shows it was purchased in Tucson at teh Desert Inn in 1986.
