M611 - Calaverite $ 125 SOLD Cripple Creek, Teller Co., Colorado, USA miniature - 5 x 2.3 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bright metallic Calaverite in Quartz and in Quartz crystal lined vugs. Calaverite is is an uncommon telluride of gold with the chemical formula AuTe2. It was first discovered in Calaveras County, California in 1861.
M502 - Aurichalcite, Plattnerite $ 150 Mina Oujela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico small cabinet - 7.5 x 5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Vuggy Limonite matrix with blue/green Aurichalcite and black Plattnerite. Good crystals all over, front and back and filling vugs.
M633 - Enstatite SOLD Kilosa, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.7 x 2.5 x 2.1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large single crystal of transparent Enstatite. This are typically found are partially etched crystals, but gem quality Enstatite is rare. This is the largest I've seen in some time.
M630 - Enstatite $ 120 Kilosa, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.3 x 1.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Single crystal of transparent Enstatite. A partially etched and rehealed crystal with a good termination. Not perfect but gem quality Enstatite is rare.
M369 - Aquamarine $ 500 SOLD Zambia small cabinet - 6 x 3 x 2.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large double-terminated Aquamarine crystal with a uniform shape. Translucent with a well saturated medium blue color. Complete all around and undamaged except for a few slight chips.
M635 - Scapolite $ 250 SOLD Morogoro, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.3 x 2.1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bi-color Scapolite crystal that is part red and cat's-eye and part transparent and golden. Complete all around and undamaged except for a chip out of one lower side face. The cat's-eye shimmer can be seen when held sideways under a light. These red crystals are uncommon.
M625 - Tanzanite with Diopside $ 500 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.8 x 3 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Uncommon and interesting Merelani specimen consisting of a 2.5cm terminated Tanzanite side-by-side with a 3cm Diopside, however the terminations are pointing in opposite directions. Never seen one like this before.
M626 - Tanzanite with Diopside $ 1500 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 3 x 2.7 x 2.1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Uncommon, aesthetic Merelani specimen consisting of two terminated Tanzanite crystals associated with Diopside. Stands upright on it's own and is complete all around. There is a small chip on the backside of the larger 3cm crystal, otherwise perfect and undamaged all around. Unheated and natural. Really stands out from the more commonly seen single crystals.
M536 - Galena with Calcite $ 225 Joplin, Jasper Co., Missouri, USA small cabinet - 7 x 6 x 4.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large single Galena cube, 6cm on the diagonal, with an attached 5.5cm golden Calcite crystal. Classic USA specimen with a clean, aesthetic look.

M409 - Tsavorite $ 1500 SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 4 x 3 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large single Tsavorite crystal with attached Graphite. Though not highly gemmy, it's undamaged with impressive size and great color.
M352 - Tsavorite $ 300 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 3 x 2 x 1.9 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large single Tsavorite crystal with attached Graphite. Though not highly gemmy, it's undamaged (some areas etched and rehealed) with impressive size and great color.
M353 - Tanzanite on Tsavorite $ 450 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 3 x 2 x 1.6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large single Tsavorite crystal with attached Graphite and a 1.2cm intergrown, terminated Tanzanite crystal on the left side. It's glassy and gemmy with great color. It's undamaged with a valley in the fron face where Graphite interferred with the growth. There are also included crystals of graphite inside the Tsavorite. Unusual combination and impressive for the Tsavorite alone.
M493 - Danburite $ 125 Charcas, San luis Potosi, Mexico small cabinet - 5.5 x 5.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of Danburite crystals on matrix. Single crystals are common, but matrix pieces, especially in miniature size, are uncommon. Over 10 crystals in the cluster, plus a tiny 'beta' Quartz crystal.
M636 - Tourmaline on Beryllonite $ 290 Linópolis, Divino das Laranjeiras, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 1.8 x 1.5 x 0.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well formed, transparent Beryllonite crystal with attached green Tourmaline. Undamaged with glassy luster and well crystallized front and back.
