Large mass of Gold atop white Quartz. The Gold has good color and displays well from all angles atop the Quartz. There is an estimated 6.5 troy ounces of Gold in this specimen, putting it's 'melt down' bullion value (based on todays rate of $1,250/ounce) at $8,125. Priced very fairly when compared to most specimen gold which sells for 2 to 10 times spot value. It's out of an old collection built in the 1970s and I unfortunately have no further locality information.
