Undamaged floater specimen of Arsenopyrite, well crystallized all around. There are all sorts of stepped, metallic surfaces that flash colors of silver and gold, with areas that flare out causing the whole (to me) to resemble a spaceship. Right where the cockpit would be sits a perfect Chacopyrite crystal upon which sits a small black Cassiterite crystal. Fine and unusual specimen.

Large open vug in matrix lined with Hemimorphite crystals to about 1cm in length. The Summit Mine produced what are likely the best USA Hemimorphites ever found. This is a fine example.

Thick Silver wires that curl up at each end. This came out of an old collection of thumbnails with no label. I was told that 'there were some Kongsberg Silvers in the collection'.

Sharp crystals of Veszelyite to 4mm on Hemimorphite lined vugs in matrix. There are vugs of crystals all over. Very rich sample. Veszelyite is a rare phosphate mineral only found in a few places worldwide as collectable mineral specimens. These specimens have only been found in the past few years and are one of the more interesting mineral surprises from China.

SM469 - Calcite with Ilvaite $ 150
Nikolaevskiy Mine, Dal'negorsk, Russia
small cabinet - 5.5 x 5 x 2.5 cm

Calcite with Ilvaite from Nikolaevskiy Mine, Dal'negorsk, Russia [db_pics/pics/SM469a.jpg] Calcite with Ilvaite from Nikolaevskiy Mine, Dal'negorsk, Russia [db_pics/pics/SM469b.jpg] Calcite with Ilvaite from Nikolaevskiy Mine, Dal'negorsk, Russia [db_pics/pics/SM469c.jpg]

Interesting specimen showing 3 generations of Calcite. The top half of a scalenohedral Calcite sticks out of a wide rhombic Calcite crystal. Both were later covered by tiny black Ilvaite crystals, then all were overgrown by a final generation of transparent Calcite. You can see the tip of the scalenohedral Calcite covered by Ilvaite underneath the final transparent layer of Calcite.
