Large, chunky Hematite crystal with an uncommon psuedocubic form. Great luster with parallel surface striations. This is an old specimen from a collection dating back to the 60s and 70s. It came without precise locality information, but I suspect it is from the Casa de Pedra mine in Congonhas, Minas Gerais. It's complete all around with some indentations from other crystals on top near the back, but remarkably pristine with only a couple small nicks. Even the bottom is rehealed. Weighs 2 pounds and 14 ounces!
