T870 - Azurite $ 3500 (=~ € 3142)
Tsumeb, Namibia
small cabinet - 9 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm

Azurite from Tsumeb, Namibia [db_pics/pics/t870a.jpg] Azurite from Tsumeb, Namibia [db_pics/pics/t870b.jpg] Azurite from Tsumeb, Namibia [db_pics/pics/t870c.jpg] Azurite from Tsumeb, Namibia [db_pics/pics/t870d.jpg] Azurite from Tsumeb, Namibia [db_pics/pics/t870e.jpg] Azurite from Tsumeb, Namibia [db_pics/pics/t870f.jpg]

Cluster of large, partially etched Azurite crystals. Fully crystallized all around, even part of the bottom is recrystallized. There is a small indentation showing Malachite on the lower front face (pssible damage?), and the lower backside of the back crystal has some indentations/contact from another former Azurite crystal. Otherwise good all around. These good large Tsumeb Azurites are very hard to come by now.

T871 - Tarnowitzite with Malachite $ 350 (=~ € 314) SOLD
Tsumeb, Namibia
cabinet - 9.5 x 6 x 4.0 cm

Gemmy, pale yellow Tarnowitzite crystals associated with Malachite. In great condition and colorful. There is a small area on the mid left side where the matrix from the opposite pocket wall contacted. An unusually nice Tarnowitzite that I think is better in person than the photos.

T872 - Tennantite aftr Azurite $ 450 (=~ € 404)
Tsumeb, Namibia
miniature - 5 x 4.5 x 4.0 cm

Cluster of 3 crystals of Azurite that are mostly psuedomorphed to Tennantite. Not only is it an aesthetic cluster, on virtually all similar pieces I've owned, I've never seen any remaining Azurite, they have all been 100% psuedomorphed. On this one you can see areas of residual blue Azurite.
