White milky Quartz crystals overgrown by a secondary generation of yellow Quartz. The yellow coloring may be from a surface coating, but if so, it is intersting that it is only on the second generation of Quartz and left the first generation white.

Single red Hematite included Quartz crystal. I find this one very unusual in that most of the time the phantom is up near the termination. On this one the phantom is midway up the crystal. Undamaged.

Outstanding single globular Olmiite crystal on matrix. This is a specimen I bought from Clive Queit for $1000 about 10-15 years ago when the first came out and I've held it in my collection ever since. According to Clive it was one of the better single crystals recovered. Crystal is 2.5cm wide.

T869 - Quartz on Hematite $ 800 (=~ AUS$ 1065)
Cleator Moor, Cumberland, England
small cabinet - 8.5 x 8.5 x 4.5 cm

Fine example of double terminated 'Beta Quartz' on Hematite crystals. A UK classic that is undamaged except for a couple places along the edges where it broke away from the host rock. The Quartz crystals are glassy and lustrous and, along with the bright metallic Hematite, give off lots of sparkle. A fine example out of an old collection.
