A stunner of a Barite specimen with 4 water clear, glassy crystals on matrix. I don't often use the term water clear, but these are really remarkably transparent. Undamaged with great sparkle and visual appeal.

Bi-colored Beryl specimen from a unique pocket in Erongo. The crystals formed as Aquamarine over yellow Heliodor, and all site atop a bed of black schorl crystals that create a contrasting backdrop to the Beryl. In fantastic condition with all the large crystals undamaged and all the tiny ones appear to be undamaged as well. Crystals reach over 3cm tall.

Here's a real oddity for a Rhodo collector - a hollow, crystallized Rhodo open at both ends. The openning at the tip is not broken as it is fully crystallized around the edge. Both the inner and outer surfaces are also fully crystallized. Never seen one like this!

B613 - Spessartine on Quartz $ 400 (=~ ¥ 59350) SOLD
Tongbei, Fujian Prov., China

A single, complete though complexly terminated smokey Quartz crystal with a large, gem of a Spessartine. The Spessartine is 1.3cm wide which is unusually large for the locality. It is not only big, but of fine quality, undamaged, and translucent with rich red/orange color.

Large single garnet crystal in Rhyolite matrix. At 1.9cm, this is considered large for the locality where most are less than 1cm. Undamaged though with a couple areas where the crystal contacted the Rhyolite on the opposite pocket wall.

B615 - Dioptase $ 220 (=~ ¥ 32643) SOLD
Christoph Mine, Kaokaveld, Namibia

An exquisite, slightly translucent single Dioptase crystal. It amazingly formed straight up off the matrix as an elongated crystal and is perfect and undamaged all around. Rare to find a complete all around 2.4 cm Diop.

Aesthetic cluster of Dioptase crystals on light blue Plancheite. The cluster offer great presentation from all sides. Minor chipping but overall good condition. Shows well from any angle!

B618 - Danburite $ 70 (=~ ¥ 10386) SOLD
Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico
miniature - 4.5 x 3 x 2.0 cm

Danburite from Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico [db_pics/pics/b618a.jpg] Danburite from Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico [db_pics/pics/b618b.jpg]

Crossing pair up interconnected Danburite crystals that have a sparkly, 'sugar-coated' appearance due to a thin covering of quartz or calcite micro crystals. Undamaged specimen that detached naturally while in the pocket as evidenced by the 'sugar-coating' covering the bottom of the crystals. private_notes
