A selection of Malachite after Cuprite on Azurite specimens recently released from a French collection.
E657 - Malachite after Cuprite on Azurite $ 400 SOLD Blue Mine, Chessy, Rhone-Alpes, France miniature - 3.5 x 3 x 2.0 cm Bright blue Azurite clusterfrom the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. This specimen features a sharp 7mm crystal of Malachite after Cuprite.
E659 - Malachite after Cuprite on Azurite $ 450 SOLD Blue Mine, Chessy, Rhone-Alpes, France thumbnail - 2.6 x 1.9 x 1.6 cm Floater cluster of Azurite with 6 crystals of Malachite after Cuprite. From the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s.
E661 - Malachite after Cuprite on Azurite $ 280 SOLD Blue Mine, Chessy, Rhone-Alpes, France thumbnail - 2.8 x 2.0 x 2.0 cm Floater cluster of Azurite from the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. This specimen has a few attached crystals of Malachite after Cuprite and a few areas where the Azurite has altered to Malachite. There are no points of contact, a complete floater and undamaged.

E667 - Malachite after Cuprite on Azurite $ 280 SOLD Blue Mine, Chessy, Rhone-Alpes, France miniature - 3.5 x 2.8 x 2.7 cm Floater cluster of Azurite from the famous Chessy mines of France. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. This specimen features a single Malachite after Cuprite crystal perched atop the Azurite. There are no points of contact, a complete floater and undamaged. There are tiny grains of Quartz attached tothe Azurite.
E668 - Malachite after Cuprite on Azurite $ 100 SOLD Blue Mine, Chessy, Rhone-Alpes, France thumbnail - 2.0 x 1.5 x 1.0 cm Floater cluster of Azurite with Malachite after Cuprite from the famous Chessy mines of France. The larger Malachite after Cuprite is partially etched away. These mines are long closed and I understand these specimens were found in the 1800s. Good large Azurite crystals.
