Killer Tanzanite thumbnail that's also a great association piece too.  Fine, gemmy blue Tanzanite crystal with excellent luster and great transparency with attached large, single Prehnite crystals (analyzed) on the backside. Prehnite from Merelani is usually seen as rounded aggregates, yet on this specimen they occur as individual crystals to 7mm wide. In addition to the Prehnite, there are white crystals of an unidentified mineral also attached to the backside. A very nice Tanzanite, undamaged with TOP luster, good color and highly gemmy.

Two terminated blue Elbaite crystals set in Albite and Quartz crystals. When I say blue I mean blue - not blue/green - blue. On the left side are large, lavender Lepidolite crystals 2.5cm wide. This is one of only 10 specimens found in this pocket in 2011. There is one missing crystal that doesn't seriously distract from the piece. Overall stunning and beautiful. This one had a list price of $1000 at Tucson, but I bought a large parcel of specimens and am able to pass on the discount. Specimen has been professionally cleaned and is very bright and lustrous.

Stunning, rare cluster of about 6-7 Tanzanite crystals of incredible brightness and luster. Crystals are good sized reaching 7.5 cm and have a high degree of transparency There is one professional repair at the tip of the longest crystal, otherwise the specimen is in great condition all around. If you are looking for a high quality Tanzanite that is a little different than the typical single crystal, this just may be it. More brightness, sparkle and transparency than other clusters I've seen too.

Aesthetic specimen of transparent blue Indicolite fronting a double-terminated Quartz crystal with attached white Albite. This is from a small pocket found last year that only produced 10 specimens. Crystal is a true blue color - not blue/green. Left termination on Quartz has chipping on one face, otherwise specimen is undamaged. A special piece for sure.

Large deep orange crystal amazingly complete and symetrical. Complete all around with only one tiny chip at one corner. This is from the original find. I purchased this long ago and only now rediscovered it an an old mineral flat. Very good quality for the size. There are some dark black inclusion in areas, but also many gem areas of transparent orange.

Stunning deep blue 3.1 cm crystal in marble with other lesser crystals beneath it. The main crystal is exceptionally sharp and well formed and also has excellent color.
