Floater cluster of Azurite crystals, fully crystallized on all sides. Small sub-spheres of Azurite bulge out in various areas, with a few specks of green Malachite present among the Azurite crystals. Gem quality blue Apatite crystal from a limited find with no recent production. Most found had blotches of frosted surface luster and a melted-looking form. This crystal is one of the best, if not the best, thumbnail from the find with zero amount of frosted luster - glassy all over. The form is also good with sharp crystal faces on the entire upper half with some etching on the lower half.

Gem quality blue Apatite crystal from a limited find with no recent production. Most found had blotches of frosted surface luster. This crystal is the best of the etched or melted-looking crystals in a lot I received many years ago. Gem quality. Appears to be a cluster of 3 crystals (2 oneone side and the thrid on the other) that meet and diverge ata  slight angle.  A floater with bright glassy surfaces everywhere.

Single blue Elbaite with a couple shorter sidecar crystals. Best of a parcel I received years ago, from a pocket that produced crystals of fine blue color. Put this up against other indicolites and you will see how good the blue is as most other indicolites will be more blue/green in color.

GEM Cuprite crystal on matrix with pink Dolomite. 1cm crystal that is fully transparent. It has a naturaly irregular growth at the very tip, but under a loupe there is one small part of the tip that is damaged, otherwise perfect. I bought this at the Desert Inn at the Tucson show about 25 years ago. A very nice Tsumeb cuprite.

Translucent to transparent Pezzottaite crystal with rich raspberry color. From a parcel I purchased when these were first discovered, I kept this one for its prismatic crystal form compared to others which were the more typical flat, wafer-like form. The flat, bevelled termination face (1.2cm on longest dimension) looks like a faceted jewel.

Deep blue Lazulite crystals with crystals on front that are partially coated by micro white Apatite crystals. This is the best floater specimen from a large lot I purchased about 12 years ago. Fully crystallized on all sides with Siderite and Quartz crystals present on the backside. Very clean of damage with no damage on front and a couple almost unnoticable areas on back.

SA345 - Pyrargyrite $ 1600 SOLD
San Genaro, Peru
thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm

Cluster of thick Pyrargyrite crystals, complete all around. Four main crystals rise up to form the cluster, with smaller crystals at the base. This is from the Wolfgang Pohl collection with a label that indicates it was acquired at the 1985 Munich show for $680. Translucent to transparent cherry red when backlit. I have backlit one photo to show the color, but when held in the hand and backlit, the whole piece lights up, much better than the photo.
