AF785 - Calcite on Ettringite SOLD

Large, translucent Ettringite crystals to1.5cm with attached elongated white Calcite crystals.  I obtained this specimen 15 years ago from a collection.  While some Ettringites can develop a brown surface alteration, this specimen has retained is bright yellow color.  Teh Calcites add contrast and a nice composition t the specimen, 3.4 x 2.5 x 2 cm.

Deep forest green Libethenite crystal cluster 1.5 cm wide in vug lined with a platy brown mineral and small pink crystals. High quality piece with good sized Libethenite cluster. 3.8 x 2 x 2 cm.

Thick, lustrous dark green crystal with smaller crystals and smokey quartz crystals attached. All Aegerine crystals are double terminated making this a floater specimen, 6.5 x 2 x 2 cm.

Matrix Dioptase specimen with individual crystals to 7mm against a white matrix, which to me make for the best Tsumeb Dioptase specimens. The crystals have excellent luster and are coated by what Iis possibly Minrecordite. Good specimen, 7 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm.

Floater specimen of densly packed crystals of olive green Pyromorphite. This specimen features good large crystals to over 1.5cm in length. The crystals from this pocket are more elongated and spikey in form than typically seen from the mine. Good specimen, size 7.5 x 5 x 2.8 cm.

Huge single crystal well exposed in marble, crystal is well formed and a whopping 4.5 cm wide, rarely seen in this size, 10.5 x 7 x 9 cm.

Fine, undamaged specimen of light smokey Quartz partially grown around a terminated Schorl crystal. While neither species is rare, this is a particularly attractive combo of the two, accented by clusters of Muscovite, size 5.3 x 4.5 x 4 cm.

Rare pink Natrolite crystal from the Jeffrey Mine. Terminated single crystal with a smaller 1.3 cm crystal sticking through the termination. From the Frank Edwards Collection, main crystal is 3.9 x 1.1 x 0.7 cm.

Gemmy, bright yellow over purple Adamite crystals on limonite. The transparency is very good as is the intense color and color combination, 8.5 x 5.5 x 2.5 cm.

3.6 cm wide cluster of larger cubo octahedral Pyrite crystals on a pyrite matrix. Displays nicely with the cluster of crystals rising up off the matrix, different that the typical masses of Pyrite, size 6 x 5 x 4 cm.

Two attached "sprays" of very bright Zinkenite. This is an uncommonly good large cluster of nothing but Zinkenite crystals brought out of Bolivia by a geologist friend years ago, 4 x 2.6 x 1.3 cm.
