Large 3cm black Spinel crystal on matrix with other smaller Spinel crystals. This is an old specimen from a collection from the 1960s and 70s, and unfortunately there was no  locality information available. I believe it to be from an old, lost locality in Riverside Co. It occurs with Chlorite and appears to have been partially etched from carbonate rock. It rates as a significant California Spinel. Undamaged.

Veszelyite is a rare phosphate mineral only found in a few places worldwide as collectable mineral specimens. These specimens have only been found in the past few years and are one of the more interesting mineral surprises from China.

Yellow crystal groups of Stellerite with the largest 3.5cm across. Radial groups of crystals that get wider as they extend out. The form reminds me of the fat back tires you sometimes see on motorcycles. Close inspection reveals a highly lustrous surface of interlocking crystals. I got this at the 2018 Tucson show and I only saw five specimens of this style with one dealer.
