New find of skeletal Galena fromt eh 9th of September Mine. This is true skeletal Galena (not the manufactured specimens from about 10 years ago), only the second time in 20 years that they have been found. With Quartz crystals and Sphalerite. Undamaged.

Large, gemmy single Tanzanite crystal, complete and well terminated. A large and impressive gem crystal with strong color. It's complete all around with glassy luster and only a small indentation from another crystal on the backside. This is a heated crystal and priced to move, would otherwise cost about $3,000-$4,000.

Large, dark color Sphalerite crystals dominate the top of this specimen with the largest individual one measuring 3.5cm on edge. The matrix is entirely Sphalerite with the terminated top crystals showing small white druzy Quartz crystals providing a nice contrast. Weight is 1lb, 10oz. Ex. The Rocksmiths Minerals with their old label that is over 20 years old. A very clean specimen with only minor contact or chipping to the main crystals.

A rare specimen from Butte County in California showing a cluster of bladed, light brown, Axinite crystals centered on a pair of water-clear Quartz crystals. The specimen is a floater with no point of attachment visible and the Quartz crystals are terminated on both ends. No visible damage to any part of this specimen. Murdoch, Joseph & Robert W. Webb (1966), in Minerals of California, notes an occurrence near the Feather River and Yankee Hill areas, but little else is known. Comes mounted with minreal tac in a 2-inch perky box with an original old faded label. A true rarity for the California collector.

Yellow Prehnite crystals with a much different, somewhat globular style than most from Merelani. It has a flat base where it was attached to Graphite. There are small Pyrite crystals along the base, apparently that grew on the Graphite first before the Prehnite.

Silver wires and patches of native Silver with areas of Acanthite rising from a black sulfide rich matrix. Estimated length of the longest Silver wire is about 2cm. There are a number of good wires present. These are no longer being found.

The largest crystal has clear areas and is in very good condition with only a small amount of microscopic chipping. Murdoch, Joseph & Robert W. Cluster of glassy Amethyst crystals from 2018 finds. Good medium purple colored Amethyst crystals that grew upon the tips of smaller white Quartz crystals, so it is crystallized on all sides with just a few of the tips of the small white crystals embedded inthe bottom. Fine and undamaged.

Large intergrown Enstatite crystals that have been replaced by green Talc. Complete all around and terminated. These were found in approximately 1900-1910 and this is considered a large specimen. Comes with an old German label.

Large, relatively flat specimen with the front face covered by crystals of Galena that have replaced Bournonite. Individual crystal reach 1.2cm in size and are undamaged.

Sharp, water clear Quartz crystals included by Brookite crystals. The main Quartz crystal is double-terminated. The Brookite crystals have fine hair-like needles of Rutile extending off the crystal surfaces. Fine and undamaged, one of the better examples from this occurrence that I've seen.
