Thick, deep forest green Brochantite crystals with high luster on matrix. This specimn is covered with a number of particularly stout crystals. These are thick, robust crystals from a 2014 find and are much different in style than earlier finds from the mine which were usually more fragile, hair-like crystals.

Tall, thick single Malachite after Azurite sitting upright on smaller crystals. Velvety bulls-eye patterns are present on the surface. There are also areas of unpsuedomorphed Azurite along the base.

Dioptase crystals to 5mm on matrix. Good sized specimen with good coverage, loaded with bright undamaged crystals. One of the best specimens from this occurrence I've seen.

Intergrown pair of crystals of Almandine replaced by Chamosite (the iron analogue of Clinochlore in the Chlorite group of minerals) from the upper peninsula of Michigan. Good sized with crystals to 3.5 cm (most found were less than 3cm). The old label indicates it was in the Frank Hess collection and identified it as 'Aphrosiderite', however Aphrosiderite is an obsolete name and Chamosite is the correct species name. I only have the Hess label, but this specimen is also shown on the Arkenstone website and indicates it was from the historical garnet collection of SMITH COLLEGE, Northampton, Massachusetts and ex. Dr. Gary Hansen Collection.

Terminated single gem crystal of Chrome Tourmaline which is a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite. Complete all around with deep emerald green coloration. Fantastic color. Undamaged. From a spectacular pocket opened in 2016.

Cluster of bright blue psuedomorphs of either Ajoite or Chrysocolla and Malachite that has replaced Azurite. These were origianlly sold as Chrysocolla but it is rumored that recent analyses indicates that the blue mineral is Ajoite.

Anatase crystals to 1.1cm on an Albite coated matrix with gem transparent Quartz crystals. The Quartz are hard to see in the photos (they are exceptionally clear!), but they are really nice.
